Playing the game

Corez.io is free to play. By playing, with or without an account, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't play. Accounts are for players aged 13 and older.

Play fair and be decent

Don't:

• cheat, use hacks, bots, macros or modified clients, or exploit bugs to get an advantage (please report bugs in our Discord instead);
• attack, overload or try to break into the servers, or interfere with other people's games;
• harass, threaten or spam other players, or post hateful, sexual or illegal content in chat, names or messages;
• pretend to be the developers, moderators or other players;
• buy, sell or trade accounts or in-game items for real money.

Your account

Keep your password and recovery code private; you're responsible for what happens on your account. Usernames must be appropriate, and we may change a name that isn't. You can delete your account at any time in Account settings.

Gemdust and items

Gemdust, cosmetics and every other in-game item are earned by playing. They have no real-money value, can't be exchanged for money, and are licensed to you for use in the game, not sold to you. We may rebalance prices and rewards, retire items, or correct balances that came from bugs or cheating.

Moderation

We may remove chat, rename, mute, suspend or ban accounts or players that break these terms, and remove gemdust, items or rank gained unfairly. Serious or repeated abuse can lead to a permanent ban.

The game can change

Corez.io is an actively developed game. Features, modes, balance and progression can change, and we may reset parts of the game or take it down for maintenance. We'll try to give notice for big changes in the update notes or our Discord.

The code, the name and the art

The game's source code is available under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0; see the LICENSE and NOTICE files in the repository. The Corez.io name and logo aren't covered by that license and may not be used to brand other games or services.

No warranty

The game is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will always be available, bug-free, or that progress will never be lost. To the fullest extent the law allows, the developers aren't liable for any indirect or consequential damages from using the game.

How we handle your data is explained in the Privacy Policy.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to play means you accept it. Questions? Find us in our Discord server.
